About Guru Nanak Khalsa Girls Inter College Varanasi ,Gurubagh Varanasi, is a minority institution recognized by the UP Secondary Education Department from Class 6 to 12 and declared by the Government and department as a minority institution. It is managed by the Sikh community about Guru Nanak Khalsa Girls Intercollege Varanasi, located in the Bhelupur area of the ancient religious city of Kashi is a Prestigious temple of Education. Where education is given through Hindi and English medium. The school is well equipped with all the resources. Arts, Science and Commerce are three streams are taught in the a school .
The school was established in 1960 by the founder Late SARDAR AJIT SINGH SABHARWAL in Collaboration with the Manager Late SARDAR HARCHAND SINGH AHLUWALIA and the school’s Director, Headministress / Principal Late BEANT KAUR .
The school was opened by the Sikh community in form of Girls School with the aims of educating the Girls from all the section of society.
The school is well equipped with Laboratories, physics, chemistry, biology, home science , Playground, Music room ,Computer Labs , Library(with 5000+ books) and fire extinguisher. The school provides many facilities like broadband internet.
School is equipped with CCTV cameras and model activity hall. The school have the facility of mid-day Program. The school also has Sant Ravidas Interpretation Center, affiliated to CCRT, run by the ministry of culture, government of India. The academic session of the School starts from the month of April. The school has boundary wall , electricity connection, generator, submersible pump drinking water and water cooler. This school is accessible by road in all seasons.
Education is provided in the school according to the syllabus and departmental rules prescribed by the Government and the department.
At present, the students studying from this institution are giving their services on the post of Professor in the department of Education and Painting Department of BHU under the Central Government and on the post of assistant teacher in Kendriya Vidhyalaya and on the post of social welfare Officer under the state Government.
In addition to the post of Lecture/Assistant Teacher in Secondary Education/ Basic Education Department . They are also providing services in many administration / non administration and police department.
The main objectives of the school is to inculcate the inherent qualities of culture and discipline along with education, various Girls Students of school have set new records in Sports World.
गुरू नानक खालसा बालिका इण्टर कालेज, गुरूबाग, वाराणसी उ0प्र0 माध्यमिक शिक्षा विभाग द्वारा कक्षा 06 से 12 तक मान्यता /अशासकीय सहायता प्राप्त एवं शासन व विभाग द्वारा घोषित अल्पसंख्यक संस्था है। इसका प्रबंधन सिक्ख समुदाय द्वारा किया जाता है। प्राचीन धार्मिक नगरी काशी के भेलूपुर क्षेत्र में स्थित गुरू नानक खालसा बालिका इण्टर कालेज, वाराणसी, शिक्षा का एक प्रतिष्ठित मंदिर है। जहॉ हिन्दी व अंग्रेजी माध्यम से शिक्षा दी जाती है। विद्यालय सभी संसाधनो से सुसज्जित है। विद्यालय में कला, विज्ञान एवं वाणिज्य तीनों वर्ग की शिक्षा दी जाती है। विद्यालय की स्थापना 1960 में संस्थापक स्व0 सरदार अजीत सिंह सब्बरवाल ने तत्समय प्रबंधक स्व0 सरदार हरचन्द सिंह अहलूवालिया एवं स्कूल की संचालिका/प्रधानाध्यापिका/प्रधानाचार्या स्व0 सुश्री बेअन्त कौर के सहयोग से की थी। विद्यालय को सिक्ख सम्प्रदाय द्वारा बालिका विद्यालय के रूप में सभी समाज के सभी जातियों की बालिकाओं को शिक्षित करने के उद्वेश्य से खोला गया। विद्यालय विभिन्न प्रयोगशालाओं- भौतिक, रसायन, जीव विज्ञान, गृह विज्ञान, खेल का मैदान, संगीत छात्राओं की शिक्षण हेतु संगीत कक्ष, कम्प्यूटर लैब, लाईब्रेरी (लाईब्रेरी के साथ 5000 पुस्तके) अग्निशमन यंत्र पूरे उपकरणो से परिपूर्ण है। ब्रॉडबैंड इण्टरनेट एवं पूरा विद्यालय सी0सी0टीवी0 कैमरे एवं मॉडल एक्टिविटी हॉल से युक्त जैसी कई सुविधायें प्रदान करता है। विद्यालय में मध्याहृन भोजन योजना, संस्कृति मंत्रालय भारत सरकार द्वारा संचालित सी0सी0आर0टी से सम्बद्व संत रविदास व्याख्या केन्द्र संचालित है। विद्यालय का शैक्षणिक सत्र माह अप्रैल से प्रारम्भ होता है। स्कूल में पक्की बाउड्रीवाल, बिजली कनेक्शन, जनरेटर, पीने के पानी हेतु सबमर्सिबल पंप तथा वाटरकुलर उपलब्ध है। इस विद्यालय में सभी ऋतुओं में सड़क मार्ग से पहुॅचा जा सकता है। विद्यालय में शासन व विभाग द्वारा निर्धारित पाठ्यक्रम एवं विभागीय नियमानुसार शिक्षा प्रदान की जाती है। वर्तमान में इस संस्था से अध्ययनरत छात्रायें केन्द्र सरकार अन्तर्गत बी0 एच0 यू0 के शिक्षा संकाय विभाग एवं पेंटिंग विभाग में प्रो0 के पद पर एवं केंद्रीय विद्यालय में स0अ0 के पद पर अपनी सेवायें दे रहीं है तथा राज्य सरकार के अन्तर्गत समाज कल्याण अधिकारी के पद पर एवं माध्यमिक शिक्षा/बेसिक शिक्षा विभाग में प्रवक्ता/स0अ0 के पद के अतिरिक्त अनेक प्रशासनिक/गैर प्रशासनिक एवं पुलिस विभाग में भी सेवायें दे रहीं है। विद्यालय का मुख्य उद्वेश्य शिक्षा के साथ साथ संस्कार एवं अनुशासन परक अर्न्तनिहित गुणों का समावेश किया जाना है। विद्यालय की विभिन्न छात्राओं ने खेल जगत में नये कीर्तिमान स्थापित किया है।
